The Remove MRC page appears.

2. Select the radio button of the MRC to be removed.
The status of each MRC is displayed to help identify the MRC to be removed. Table 43 on page 137
describes the various FRU states for adding and removing FRUs.

SUBMIT.

on the confirmation dialog box that appears to proceed with removing the MRC or click
OK
(this is the only opportunity to cancel the MRC removal).
When the ISE is in some states, such as Maintenance Mode, the system may reject the removal command and
display an informational message explaining the rejection. Click
the rejection, check the
Force Remove
The Remove MRC1 or MRC2 view appears with a moving logo to indicate activity. The view refreshes itself
automatically every few seconds. The Remove process can take several minutes to complete.
If the browser session is accessing the MRC being removed, the connection may be terminated by the
Remove MRC function. If so, reactivate the browser connection to the ISE by waiting five seconds and then
clicking the
button. The browser returns to the Remove MRC1 or MRC2 view.
Refresh
When the MRC is in a quiescent state, the Remove MRC view appears with a status of Offline: Ready to
Extract for this MRC, indicating that it is now ready to be physically removed from the chassis.
