Installing a power supply

Procedure
1. Slide the replacement power supply into the enclosure until it clicks into place.
2. Connect the power cable.

Verifying power supply operation

1. Ensure that the power supply is operating properly by checking the status LED. For more information, see

Replacing a fan module

Before you begin

IMPORTANT:
Make sure that you have the replacement fan module unpacked and available for installation before
removing the failed fan. Ensure proper cooling, because the fan module replacement must be done
within three minutes or the temperature rises.

Verifying fan module failure

Before replacing a fan module, verify its status using one of the following methods:
