Slots are keyed and the fan cable assembly can only be installed one way.

Procedure
1. Slide the connector to keyed slots.
NOTE:
Slots are keyed and the fan cable assembly can only be installed one way.
2. Push the connector release in.
3. Add the fan cable to the bracket.
4. Insert the new fan control card and slide sideways to engage it with the retaining pins.
5. Reinstall the captive T-15 screw.
6. Attach the fan control card cable to the backplane.
7. Replace the enclosure cover and press the hood latch down to latch.
8. Replace the fan modules. See Replacing a fan module on page 61.
9. Replace the enclosure in the rack.
10. Install the captive CTO screws.
11. Tighten the front retaining screws.
12. Replace the I/O module cables.
13. Replace the power cables.
14. When the enclosure has completed its power on sequence, check all enclosure status LEDs to ensure
the enclosure is operating properly. For more information, see Common status LEDs on page 15.
