Procedure
1.
Install the new storage system following the instructions in the HPE StoreVirtual Storage System
Installation Guide.
2.
Use the Configuration Setup to configure the storage system through the Network Configuration step.
3.
In the Continue Configuration window, click No
4.
Point the web browser to the management IP address that was assigned to one of the storage controllers
during the network setup.
5.
Log in to the storage system with the User Name and Password admin, admin. These credentials are
always used when a storage system is not in a management group.
6.
On the StoreVirtual menu, select Settings
7.
Select General and then selectActions > Add storage systems on the content pane.
Use Add IP address and Discover available systems as needed to discover storage systems on the
network.
8.
Select a storage system to add to the management group, and click OK.
9.
Use the StoreVirtual Management Console to select storage system B to join the same management
group as storage system A. From Settings > General view, select Add a storage system from the
Actions menu.
10. Follow the instructions in the StoreVirtual Management Console online help to add the storage system to
an existing storage pool.
