Removing system cover

Prerequisites
1 Ensure that you read the Safety instructions section in this document.
2 Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals.
3 Disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and peripherals.
4 Remove the optional bezel. For more information, see the Removing the front bezel section in this document.
Steps
1 Turn the latch release lock to the unlock position.
2 Lift the cover release latch and remove the system cover.

Installing the system cover

Prerequisites
1 Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
2 Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.
3 Ensure that all internal cables are connected and placed out of the way, and no tools or extra parts are left inside the system.
Steps
1 Align the slots on the system cover with the tabs on the chassis.
