Diagnostics on the PLC Main Unit

The following describes some of the PLC errors from the LED lights on the PLC.
For details related to the PLC main unit wiring, special auxiliary relays, and special data registers
following respective manuals.

13.3.1 POWER LED [on/flashing/off]

LED state
Power of the specified voltage is being
On
supplied to the power supply terminal.
One of the following causes may have
occurred:
• Power and current of the specified
Flashing voltage is not being supplied to the power
supply terminal.
• Incorrect external wiring.
• Internal errors in the PLC.
One of the following causes may have
occurred:
• The power supply is OFF.
• Incorrect external wiring.
Off
• Power of the specified voltage is not
being supplied to the power supply
terminal.
• The power cable is broken.

13.3.2 BATT LED [on/off]

LED state
On The battery voltage is low.
The battery voltage is higher than the value
Off
with D8006.
→ FX
PLC state
The power supply is normal.
• Check the supply voltage.
• After disconnecting cables other than the power cable, turn the power ON
again, and check for changes in the state. If no improvement is obtained,
Consult a Mitsubishi Electric distributor.
• If the power is not OFF, check the power supply and the power supply
route.
If power is being supplied correctly, consult a Mitsubishi Electric
distributor.
• After disconnecting cables other than the power cable, turn the power ON
again, and check for changes in the state. If no improvement is obtained,
Consult a Mitsubishi Electric distributor.
PLC state
Immediately replace the battery.
Normal
