Service Menu

The Service Menu contains items for the installer and the service technician. Contact
a sales representative or service technician for the password.
1. Press the MENU/ESC key.
2. You are asked to enter the password.
Note: If the BNWAS is active, the message shown
right appears. The cursor is selecting "Yes"; press
the ENT/CALL key to show the Service Menu.
Menu Item
System TEST
Self TEST and LCD TEST. The Self TEST checks
the system for proper operation. The LCD TEST
checks the LCD on the Main Alarm Panel for proper
display of colors.
Input Port2
Select the function for input port 2, Backup Naviga-
tor or Timer Reset.
If Backup Navigator is set without connection to ex-
ternal equipment, the emergency calling is activat-
ed. When the emergency calling occurs, Set the
menu to "Timer Reset" after the input port 2 is
closed (shorten).
Buzzer Tone
Set the frequency for the buzzer of the Main Alarm
(Main)
Panel, 1300-1699 (Hz).
Alarm Mode
Set the Alarm Mode according to the ship's class.
Select [AlertI/F1] or [AlertI/F2] for alarm
control with AMS.
Restore Factory
Restore all default settings. See the next page for
Settings
the procedure.
