4. See illustration below. Place the goboholder on a clean, flat work surface with the teeth facing
upwards. The gobo is held in place in the gobo holder by a spring. Taking care to avoid scratching
or applying pressure to the gobo, lever the end of the spring out, remove the spring and then lift the
gobo out of the goboholder.
5. See illustration below. Hold the gobo with the dark side facing upwards towards the teeth in the
goboholder. Match up the alignment marks (arrowed) in the gobo and goboholder. Lay the new
gobo flat in the goboholder.
Gobos 5 and 6 only
Gobos 5 and 6 are structured glass and require a thrust washer. See illustration below. Place the black
thrust washer (arrowed) over the gobo before you go on to the next step.
