Troubleshooting Guide

The following tables are provided to give you a quick reference to symptoms of printer failures which you can use to
determine the various causes before actually beginning your troubleshooting. Always refer to these tables before
troubleshooting. If you cannot fix the problem, proceed to "2. Troubleshooting Chart" for detailed procedures.

Nothing prints

Possible Cause
Power cable is not
properly connected.
Power is not turned ON.
has jammed.
The thermal head may be
too hot.
The thermal head may be
too cold.
A mechanical or electrical
error has occurred.
Power cable is not
properly connected.
The printer Ready button
has not been pressed.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Handling
Check that the power cable
is properly connected.
Turn ON the power switch
located on the back of the printer.
Put paper in the paper tray.
Refer to the item dealing paper
jams.
Replace the Film Roll.
Firmly close the top cover.
Allow the printer to cool.
Allow the printer to warm up.
Turn OFF the power to the printer
once and turn it back ON again.
If the same error occurs there is a
problem.
Check that the power cable
is properly connected.
Press the Ready button.
