3.11 Generator V-belt

Adjustment and tightening
A loose V-belt can result in insufficient charging of the
battery.
A) Check the V-belt by pressing the middle section with a
finger to see if there is approx. 7–9 mm slack (about 10 kg
of pressure).
B) Check the V-belt for wear and tear.
Tightening
Loosen the two bolts that hold the generator, and then
adjust/tighten them until the V-belt is at the required tension.
Remember to tighten the bolts and nuts after adjusting!

3.12 Removal of wheels

Before removing a wheel, the engine must be stopped and
the parking brake activated.
Loosen the wheel nuts before the wheel is lifted off the
ground.
Jacking point:
· for the rear wheel. (Picture 1)
· for the front wheel. (Picture 2)
When fitting the wheels, tighten the wheel nuts after the
machine is lowered to the ground.
