Adjustment Procedures
2) Adjusting the lateral position of the cloth cutting knife
1. Loosen three knife base setscrews 1.
2. Adjust the position by moving knife base 2 together with knife
base key 3 to the right and left as the arrow mark "a".
3) Adjusting the inclination of the cloth cutting knife
1. Loosen three knife base setscrews 1 and two knife base key
setscrews 4.
2. Move knife base 2 as the arrow mark "b" to adjust the
inclination.
Results of Improper Adjustment
When the lateral position of the
cloth cutting knife is improper :
™ For the cut-after knife, stitches
of eyelet section or parallel
section are cut.
™ For the cut-before knife, stitches
of parallel section or eyelet
section are deformed.
When the cloth cutting knife tilts :
™ For the cut-after knife, stitches
of eyelet section or parallel
section are cut.
™ For the cut-before knife, stitches
of parallel section or eyelet
section are deformed.
