AP 630: Ram 1 is guided by means of three half-round slide
rails, of which the two on the left in relation to the direction of
travel can be adjusted in situ. Elongated holes in the frame
or shims (see spare parts list) are used for adjustment
purposes.
AP 730 and AP 830: Ram 1 is guided by means of three
round slide rails. Elongated holes in the frame or M16 set

screws (see spare parts list) are used for adjustment
purposes.

Adjust ram knife 6 to remove play in relation to the bottom
guide rail 7 in the frame (Figure 31 or Figure 32), by placing
shims (see spare parts list) underneath.
The frame knife (item 1, Figure 29 and Figure 30) is also
adjusted to the correct play of 0.1 - 0.8 mm (Figure 29) in
relation to ram knife 2 by placing shims (see spare parts list)
underneath.
Tighten the knife screws. After fitting the knives, turn the baler
by hand (see Figure 15) and check the play once again. Allow
the ram to go through a complete cycle when doing so. The
knives must move freely and not collide.
