Adjusting the windguard
AP 530: The windguard 1 is freely movable between two stops

(Figure 18) in two different set positions A and B.

To change positions, the split pins on both sides must be
removed. The windguard can then be withdrawn out of the side
panels of the pick-up.
The windguard can be fixed higher or lower to suit the length of
the crop. With normal crop, use the upper position A. To pick up
short crop, set the windguard lower.
When adjusting the height of the windguard, make sure that it is
the same on both sides!
AP 630, AP 730 and AP 830: The windguard 2 is freely
movable between two stops in three different set positions C
(Figure 19).

Pick-up support wheel
The baler can be fitted with an adjustable pick-up support wheel
to ensure that the pick-up remains at the correct distance from
the ground even on uneven fields.

Release the catch lever 3.
Remove the windguard 2 at one end from the holder 4.
Pivot the windguard so that the pin 5 (Figure 20) at the other
end of the tube can be guided through the slot in holder 6
and thus pulled out.
Adjust the support wheel higher or lower in one of the three
specified holes. The clearance between tines and ground
should be 2 cm when the pick-up is lowered (Figure 21).
