Maintenance and adjustments

Read this manual thoroughly before doing maintenance,
adjustments or repairs on your AP baler and P23 thrower.
Respect all safety guidelines.
Effect: Danger of life, serious injury or damage of the machine.
The following general rules apply to all maintenance,
adjustment and repair work:
 Switch off power take-off shaft and tractor engine.
 Remove the ignition key and interrupt the electrical connection
between tractor and machine.
 Wait until all moving parts have stopped.
 Depressurize the hydraulic system.
 Secure the tractor and AP baler against the possibility of
rolling back.

5.1 Maintenance schedules

Maintenance after 20 working hours
Tighten up all bolts and nuts after approximately 20 running

hours. Do not alter adjusting screws.
Check the wheel nuts tightening torque.

Maintenance every 50 working hours
Change the hydraulic oil from thrower P23. (grade HL46)

Check the wheel nuts tightening torque.

Maintenance after 100 working hours or two years
Change the hydraulic oil from thrower P23. (grade HL46)

Maintenance after 500 working hours or two years
Change the transmission oil.

Note!
Maintain the correct tyre pressures at regular intervals . Refill is
needed!
The specified tire pressure is:
10,0/75-15.3 Impl.
11,5/80-15.3 Impl.
7,00-12 Impl.
8.00-12 Impl.
