Clearing blockages

Cross-feeder with deflecting mechanism as overload
protection:
The cross-feeder and packer of the baler are equipped with an
automatic overload safeguard. The tines of the cross-feeder
and hydraulic packer work automatically.
The machine can often work itself free in the event of a
blockage:
Stop the tractor.

Reduce the speed of the PTO drive shaft by half.

The plug of material is pushed by the cross-feeder into the
baling channel and the machine then runs free again.
If the tines are deflected frequently, this indicates that the
machine is working at its load limit.
Note!
Continuous deflection increases wear in the drive of the
machine. It is advisable to drive the tractor slower.
Caution! Turning the fly wheel!
Effect: Serious material damage.
Do NOT remove the blockage by turning the PTO drive shaft or
flywheel in reverse direction.
Doing so can permanently bend the flat springs of the cross-
feeder and damage the hydraulic packer.
