26 Pipette calibration

Before starting the weighing process, acclimatise the sample liquid, weighing
container, pipette and pipette tip for at least 2 hours.
Use distilled water as a sample fluid.
• Ambient temperature 20 – 25°C, temperature fluctuations during calibration
0.5°C
• Relative humidity 50 -75 %
26.1 Settings <P2.13 PIPETTE CALIBRATION >
Applications can be adapted to your requirements by creating application-related
settings. The settings available depend on the currently enabled application.
A part of these settings is global, that is, they are – apart from a few exceptions –
identical to the weighing application (See chap 9.3 „Settings <P2.1 WEIGHING>".
The description below merely deals with settings deviating from the default settings.

Parameters
For pipette calibration, the following additional function key is
available.
 START
For devices with fixed volume select setting <1>
(test volume = nominal volume).
For devices with variable volume two or three volumes can
be tested:
As a rule 10 % of the nominal volume [µl]

As a rule 50 % of the nominal volume [µl]
2
As a rule 100 % of the nominal volume [µl]
