Connect the USB cable to the moisture meter and to the USB port on the
computer.
Wait until the Windows Installer Assistant is shown.

Invoke device manager.
Click on „connections„ and the new virtual COM port for the device will be shown.
Correct entry is clearly indicated by the name of KERN PLJ series.

Select the shown COM Port such as COM6 according to the transmission
software.
We recommend our transfer software 'Balance Connection KERN SCD 4.0' for
the import of data to a PC program.

Go to menu <P4.2.1 Devices / Printer / Port> and select the setting <USB-PC>,
see chap.28.2.
