2a. Push the Key twi ce aga inst the switch in si de the
Re a der. The Gre en LED will turn ON (see Fi gu re 4d).
3a. Re mo ve the Key. As you re mo ve the Key the Red
LED will also turn ON and the System will Arm in B
Mode.
From PROXI Re a ders
1b. Hold the Pro xi mity Key/Card near the sen si ti ve field
of the PROXI Re a der. The LEDs will light in turn (at 2
se cond in ter vals).
2b. Re mo ve the Key/Card when the Gre en LED turns
ON. At this po int, the Red LED will also turn ON and the
System will Arm in B Mode.
n Stop Alarms (for ECLIPSE Re a ders ONLY)
To Stop Alarms: in sert a SAT Key into an ECLIPSE Re -
a der (see Fi gu re 4e).
The out co me of this ope ra tion de pends on how the
Instal ler has pro gram med the SAT Key.
If the SAT Key has been duly pro gram med, this ope ra -
tion can:
Stop Par ti tion Alarms ge ne ra ted by Par ti tions com -
mon to the SAT Key and ECLIPSE Re a der in use,
and/or
Stop Con trol pa nel Alarms and/or
Cle ar the Call Qu e ue (end the on go ing call, and in hi bit
fur ther Alarm calls).
When the SAT Key is in ser ted into the Re a der, the Red
LED will switch sta tus, and the Amber and Gre en LEDs
will turn OFF.

To re sto re the set ting (re set the Arm Mode that was
ac ti ve be fo re the SAT Key was in ser ted) — push
the SAT Key into the ECLIPSE Re a der un til the 3
LEDs start to blink slowly, the pre vio us set ting will
be re sto red when the Key is removed.
n Arm/Disarm Patrol
Di gi tal Keys/Cards with this at tri bu te can Arm/Di sarm
the system du ring the pro gram med Pa trol Time.

The Wireless Key

If your system is equip ped with a Vec tor/RX Wi re less
Re ce i ver, it will be pos si ble to con trol all the main fun -
ctions from re mo te lo ca tions by me ans of Wi re less
Keys (see Fi gu re 5). This sec tion de scri bes the fun -
ctions that can be con trol led by Wi re less Keys.

The ope ra tions per for med by Wi re less Keys will
not be con fir med by any type of feed back si gnal
(au di ble or vi sual), un less done in the vi ci nity of a
Re a der or a Key pad, or a de vi ce that has been
espe cially set up to pro vi de feed back signals.

n Global Mode
Press the but ton un til the LED turns ON (see Fig. 5), to
Arm all the Par ti tions of the Wi re less Key( Key Fob) in
use.
n Stay Mode
Press the but ton un til the LED turns ON (see Fig. 5), to
Arm all the Par ti tions of the Wi re less Key (Key Fob) in
use in Stay Mode
(A Type- Amber ar ming) .
n Disarm
Press the but ton un til the LED turns ON (see Fig. 5), to
Di sarm all the Par ti tions of the Wi re less Key (Key Fob)
in use.
n Other functions
Press the key un til the LED turns ON (see Fig. 5), to
ac ti va te the spe cial fun ctions pro gram med for the Wi re -
less Key (Key Fob) in use
ming or Su per key or both).
n Low Bat tery
If any of the Wi re less Key bat te ries starts to run low, the
G LED on the Key pads will Turn ON.

All the system Tro u ble con di tions are si gnal led by
the G LED. The re fo re, if this LED turns ON, you
must ac cess the View Tro u ble Mode for details.
The Low Wi re less Bat tery con di tion will be si gnal led in
View Tro u ble Mode by the [Low_bat tery_WLS]
mes sa ge (re fer to "View Tro u ble Mode" un der "Ba sic
Com mands" in the "OPERATING YOUR SYSTEM
FROM A KEYPAD" sec tion).
The Event Log ger (re fer to the IDENT field of the event
TYPE [Bat tery_low_____]) will pro vi de the de ta ils
of the Wi re less key that has trig ge red the Low bat tery
con di tion (re fer to "Event Log ger" un der "Acces sing the
User menu" in the "OPERATING YOUR SYSTEM
FROM A KEYPAD" sec tion).
Call your in stal ler and have the bat tery re pla ced.
