Readers

Re a ders have 3 System sta tus LEDs (Red, Gre en and
Amber).

Re a ders can also be used to si gnal three spe ci fic
events. Ask your Instal ler for de ta ils.

If the Com pa ti bi lity with EN50131 op tion has been
ena bled for a re a der, af ter every ac ti va tion/de ac ti -
va tion the 3 in di ca tor lights will be swit ched off to
"hide" the con trol unit sta tus.
This Con trol pa nel ma na ges:
Ø ECLIPSE Re a ders (see Fi gu re 3b) - The se de vi ces
ac cept com mands from SAT Keys (Key must in ser -
ted into the key slot on the Re a der).
Ø PROXI Pro xi mity Re a ders (see Fi gu re 3d) - The se
de vi ces ac cept com mands from Di gi tal Keys and
PROXI-CARDS (the Card/Key must be held near the
sen si ti ve field of the Reader).
Ø PREMIUM LCD Key pads (see Fig. 3e) - The se Key pads

nel sup ports up to 32 Re a ders. The Instal ler will pro -
gram the fol lo wing pa ra me ters for each Re a der:
Ø The Par ti tions the Re a der can con trol (Re a der Par ti -
tions)
Ø A Mode Arming (AMBER)
Ø B Mode Arming (GREEN)

Digital Keys/Cards

This Con trol pa nel can ma na ge:
Ø SAT Keys (see Fi gu re 3a) - The se work with
ECLIPSE and PROXI Re a ders.
Ø PROXI-CARDS (see Fi gu re 3c) - The se work with
PROXI Re a ders only.
The sec tion de scri bes how to ope ra te your system from
a Key/Card Re a der. Each Key/Card has a ran dom code
— se lec ted from over 4 bil lion com bi na tions.
Your Instal ler can as sign an Iden ti fier Num ber and De -
scrip tion to up to 500 Keys/Cards. The num ber will be
re cor ded in the Event Log ger each time the Key/Card
