Brightness adjustment

The brightness can set in a nor mal way or in the stand
by sta tus (the key pad ena bles the stand by sta tus
brightness af ter 10 se conds of inac ti vity).
To ad just the brightness of the LCD di splay, press and
hold:
Ø A to in cre a se brightness
Ø B to de cre a se brightness
Press OFF to set the stand by brightness.
ON and OFF al ter na te, re spec ti vely, the set tings for the
nor mal and the stand by sta tus le vel.
To con firm the se lec ted le vels, press ENTER (or simply
wait a few se conds to ena ble the key pad back into the
stand by sta tus).

If the brightness in the "stand-by sta tus" is set to a mi -
ni mum, the key pad LEDs go out ex cept in an alarm or
fa ult con di tion (see Ma nual of key pads).

Superkey functions

If your Instal ler has set up the 'Su per keys', you will be
able to per form some "Qu ick" ope ra tions from the key -
pad wit ho ut using co des. The ta ble shows how to ac ti -
va te the pro gram med fun ctions.

The 'Su per keys' can be set up to ac ti va te:
Ø Elec tri cal ap plian ces (e.g. He a ting system, Lights,
etc.)

Off: all the keypad Partitions are Disarmed
On: at least one of the keypad Partitions is Armed

Slow blinking: STOP ALARMS function is Active
Fast blinking: STOP ALARMS function is Active and AT LEAST ONE of the keypad
NOTE - With EN50131 keypad, the indicator light is always off: to display the various
functions listed above, you will have to enter the "View zone status" mode.
Off: Standby status -NO alarms-

On: Zone Alarms in memory
Slow blinking: Tamper on at least one zone or on thr Control panel
Fast blinking: Alarm and Tamper on at least one zone, or Tamper on the Control panel
Off: No trouble conditions detected

On: At least one Trouble condition detected
Slow blinking: At least one zone in Test status
Fast blinking: At least one zone in Test status and one in Trouble status
M
Off: No voice messages in memory
On: At least one voice message in memory
Note: The zone Alarm and Tamper events, signalled on the LEDs, refer to zones which belong to the
keypad Partitions.

The 'Su per key' ac tions are in stant and will be con fir -
med by a feed back si gnal (beep).
The Su per keys can be set up to work dif fe rently on dif -
fe rent Key pads.

Ta ble 1 shows the me a ning of the in di ca tor LEDs on the
PREMIUM LCD and CLASSIKA LCD Key pads.

Re fer to Ta ble 1 for the de scrip tion of the four LEDs on
the Key pad.

and Date, as fol lows.
