Barrier Panel

1. Prepare the printer for maintenance (page 440).
2. Loosen (do not remove) the two #2 Phillips hold-down screws on the rear
of the printer. (See page 460, item 4.)
3. Loosen the screws in the top corners of the barrier panel.
(See Figure 7.)

4. Adjust the top portion of the barrier panel so that it protrudes forward,
towards the front of the printer 1/10 inch. Use a measurement scale as a
guide. (See Figure 8.)
5. Tighten the screw.

6. Return the printer to normal operation (page 440).
