Set Up The Printer Set Up The Printer Remove Packing Materials CAUTION To avoid shipping damage, reinstall the shipping restraints whenever you move or ship the printer. Save the cardboard packing, foam blocks, and bubble wrap along with the other packing materials in case you need to move the printer.

Set The Top-of-Form Set The Top-of-Form Every time you load paper, you must tell the printer where the top- of-form (TOF) is. This procedure must be performed the first time paper is introduced into the printer, and every time new paper is loaded.

Print A Test Page Procedure Power On The Printer When you power on the printer, it executes a self-test. The default power-up state is online. When the self-test completes and the software has initialized successfully, the status indicator light turns on, indicating that the printer is online.
