Changing The Printer Port - Muratec F-68P User Manual

(Setting for the Client)

Click Start, point to Settings, and click Printers.

Double-click the Add Printer icon.
The "Add Printer wizard" starts.

Click Next.

Select Network Printer. Click Next.

Click the Browse button to locate network printer.
Click Next.

Select Yes and click Next.
Note: Windows based printing option is only available.

Click Finish to complete adding network printer.
If you choose Yes, Test is performed

Changing the Printer Port

Note: Available only in Windows 98/ME/2000/XP.

Click Start, point to Settings, and click Printers.

Right-click the FAX printer, select "Properties".

Select the Details Tab.
Click the Print to the following port to find the port and
select the printer port.
Click OK.

Printing to Parallel Port:
Select a port in LPT1, LPT2, LPT3.

Printing to USB Port:
Windows 98/Me : select USB/FAX
Windows 2000/XP : select USB001, USB002
