The Setup page allows the User to configure various parameters of the UT. Many of the
parameters on this page require a restart of the terminal to take effect. A description of each
item on the page follows:
1. Terminal Local IP Address: This allows the User to change the local IP address of the
terminal from the default 192.168.128.100 IP address. All four octets can be changed.
Once the local IP address is changed on this page and applied, the IP address ranges
for the DHCP server, the PDP Context page, ACA page and M2M page will also be
changed automatically. Note: Updates to this field will not take effect until the UT is
rebooted.
Make a note of the new address, as you will need it to access the UT.
After restarting the UT to change the IP address, disconnect and reconnect the TE to allow
it to clear and update its IP configuration. You must then enter the new IP address in the
browser to re-access the web UI.
2. Terminal Subnet Mask: This allows the User to change the UT subnet mask. For example, if
you wish to use a class B address on the UT, set the subnet mask to 255.255.0.0. Note:
Updates to this field will not take effect until the UT is rebooted.
3. DHCP Server: This allows the User to enable or disable the DHCP server. Note: Updates to
this field will not take effect until the UT is rebooted.
