Problem
Terminal will not turn on

Possible Cause
Power button not pressed for long
enough
Discharged battery
Battery not fitted
Battery is defective (battery LED is
flashing red)
Battery temperature is outside charging
range
Battery incorrectly oriented
USIM is not correctly seated in the card
holder
Card holder incorrectly oriented
Lock knobs are not tight enough
Closing the stand has tightened both
lock knobs
The stabilizer has not been deployed
Terminal‟s automatic modes are not set
correctly
Possible Solution
Press the button for 2 seconds
Connect the AC or DC power
adapter
Connect the AC or DC power
adapter
Replace battery
Battery will only be charged at
temperatures between 0°C and
45°C.
Ensure the battery is oriented as
shown in First Time Setup
Ensure the USIM is pressed firmly
into the card holder
Ensure the card holder is
oriented as shown in First Time
Setup
Ensure lock knobs are turned in
the direction shown on the
knobs. Both knobs will gradually
tighten if you push the unit to a
lower angle. This can help with
locking the unit when the
desired protractor angle is close
to 90 degrees.
Open the terminal‟s stand, this
will automatically loosen the lock
knobs.
