If the PIC versions do not match in the PIC Info area, you may upgrade the PIC software. You
should check the release notification to see if the PIC upgrade is required.
During the PIC Upgrade process, it is imperative that the power supply and Ethernet connections
to the BGAN modem are not removed or interrupted or the terminal may become unusable.
The PIC upgrade uses the same steps as the regular software upgrade and can be done at the
same time or separately.
1. If the new PIC version is newer than the Modem PIC version and you want to upgrade, click
the Upgrade PIC box and then click the Upgrade button:
2. During the Upgrade process, it is imperative that the power supply and Ethernet connections
to the BGAN modem are not removed or interrupted.
3. The status and progress of the Upgrade is shown in the BGAN Upgrader window.
4. The upgrade process will proceed. After about a minute the unit will reboot.
