Self-help in case of faults

Faults:
Machine does not fill.
Rinse water does not
spray!
Vapours drains!
Stripes and smears on the
basket!
Formation of a significant
amount of foam in the
wash tank!

Remedies
 No water present
 Dirt collector clogged
 Level electrode soiled
 Solenoid valve faulty
 No water present
 Dirt collector clogged

 If the appliance has automatic water conservation, the
conservation grid switch / timing switch is defective
 Pump for pumping water from the machine cistern
broken down
 Final rinse system is scaled
 Extraction system has failed
 Curtains are missing
 Temperatures too high
 By e.g. jamming in the machine's wash arms, drying
nozzles, baffles bent
 Temperatures too high
 Rinse water mineral content too high (see operating
instructions)
 If only found at certain times, check water softening
unit with a view to regeneration. This, however, must
not be done during the washing time.
 Different water type depending on the waterworks
 Unsuitable rinse aid products or wrong dosage
quantity
 Incorrectly fitted or missing curtains
 Oversize containers previously washed. Oversize
containers previously washed causing detergent to be
transferred into following tanks.
 Detergent for dish-washing by hand enters the wash
tank because of pre-cleaning the dishes
 Daily cleaning of the machine is carried out with
foaming cleansing agents which afterwards enter the
machine.
 Improve pre-wash, as too much food residue is
