Unlocking the screen

When turning the power on, the lock screen appears
following the startup screen.

Deactivate the screen lock according to the
screen lock type.
When [None] is set :
outside of the circle.
When [Pattern] is set :
When [Security code] is set :
→[OK]
When [Password] is set :
→Enter password→[OK]

If you forget the unlock method
When you forget the unlock screen method, set a new
pattern/security code/password in the following procedure
to unlock the screen.

If you fail entering unlock pattern, security code or
password 5 times, retry 30 seconds later.

Perform the following steps while signing in with the
Google account.

On the unlock screen, [Forgot pattern?]/
[Forgot security code?]/[Forgot password?]
→Sign in with the Google account→Follow
Slide on the lock screen to the
Enter the pattern
Enter the security code
Tap the password entry field
the onscreen instructions to set a new
pattern/security code/password

Displaying the owner info
You can display the owner's information on the lock
screen.

From the Applications menu, [Settings]→
[Location & security]→[Owner info]→Mark
[Show owner info on lock screen]
