Settings for international
roaming
By default, the terminal is set to automatically search and
switch to an available network. To switch network
manually, perform the following operations.
◆ Setting network type

From the Applications menu, [Settings]→
[Wireless & networks]→[Mobile networks]
→[3G ・ LTE/GSM setting]

Select mode
Auto : Automatically switch to an available network.
3G・LTE : Use 3G network.
GSM・GPRS : Use GSM/GPRS network.
✔INFORMATION

If the mode is set to [Auto] and a 3G network and GSM/
GPRS network of the same network operator are detected
at the same time, connection to a 3G network is given
priority.
◆ Setting a network operator
manually

From the Applications menu, [Settings]→
[Wireless & networks]→[Mobile networks]
→[Network operators]

[Network search setting]→[Manual]→[Yes]
Available networks are searched for and displayed.

Select a network of the network operator→
[OK]
◆ Setting Data roaming

From the Applications menu, [Settings]→
[Wireless & networks]→[Mobile networks]

[Data roaming]

Check the precaution screen and [OK]

After returning to Japan

When you return to Japan, the terminal is connected to
DOCOMO network automatically. If connection is failed,
perform the following operations.

Set [3G･LTE/GSM setting] in [Mobile networks] to
[Auto].

Set [Network search setting] in [Network operators] in
[Mobile networks] to [Auto].
