3. Disassembly and Reassembly

3.2.2.2. Development Unit (Deve Unit)

Before replacing the development unit, update the firmware

with the latest version.

1. Remove the corresponding drum unit.(Refer to 3.2.2.1.)

2. Close the shutter.

3. Release the bracket [A] after removing 2 screws. Then

unplug the connector.

4. Turn the toner supply pipe at a 90 degree angle in a

clockwise direction. Then, pull it to the front.

5. Hold the grip point of Deve unit with hand and remove

the Deve unit.

Do not grip the bulging part when removing the Deve
