7.ENGINE RUNNING :
The cutting system does not start.
-Check the seat contactor is working properly.
-Check if the side parts of the cutter housing are correctly mounted.
-Check if the frame bundle is correctly connected to the main bundle.
-Check the contactors on the mobile parts are working and positioned correctly .
-Check the two grassbox contactors are working properly.
-Check the blade clutch is correctly connected and operating.
-Check the blade drive belt is present.
8.ENGINE RUNNING :
When the blades are started, the engine stops.
-Check that the seat contactor is properly activated.
-Check the seat contactor is working properly.
9. DURING MOWING :
The cutting system stops, then starts again on its own.
-Check the correct adjustment and the travel of the fixed grassbox contactor arm (red
contactor which presses on the green chassis at the back of the machine).
-Check the correct adjustment and the positioning of the contactor between the fixed
grassbox and the mobile grassbox.
- Check the clearance of the blade clutch gap. If it is too big, it must be adjusted
immediately.
10. DURING MOWING :
The cutting system stops after a while.
- Check the clearance of the blade clutch gap. If it is too more than the recommended
adjustment value, it must be adjusted immediately.
-Check if all the connections concerning the blade clutch are OK.
11. DURING MOWING :
Poor grass pickup, the grassbox only half fills. Check :
- the plate of the mobile flap is above the cutting deck. If this is not the case, half the air
flow for rear ejection rises into the engine compartment, and deposits the grass there.
- the engine speed.
- the condition and the tension of the blade belt.
- the condition of the blades. Worn fins cannot create enough air flow for the ejection of the
cut grass.
- the adjustment of the cutting deck. This must be set 5 to 8 mm higher at the back.
-Ensure that the operating speed of the machine is not too high in relation to the height of
the grass to be cut.
- that the canvas of the grassbox and the grassbox ventilation grilles are clean.
- that the blades are not mounted the wrong way round ; the cutting edge must be facing
the back when the blade is opposite the ejection channel.
- that all of the cutting deck is clean so that it can produce an air flow sufficient to eject the
cut grass.
