12. DURING MOWING :
Poor cutting quality. Check :
- the sharpness of the blades and their general condition
- the engine speed
- the condition of the cutting system drive belt.
- the tyre pressure
- the adjustment of the cutting deck
- If the operating speed is not too high in relation to the height of the grass to be cut,
- that the blades are not mounted the wrong way round ; the cutting edge must be facing the back
when the blade is opposite the ejection channel.
13. EMPTYING.
There is no response from any of the basket emptying functions. Check :
- that the by-pass slide coil of the equipment circuit control valve is powered in 12V
- the mechanical functioning of the by-pass slide.
- if the by-pass slide is not blocked or closed up by an impurity.
- the condition of the lower seal on the by-pass slide
- if there is no oil leak on the hydraulic circuit
14. EMPTYING
One of the emptying functions does not respond (flap, lifting/lowering or opening/closing of the basket).
Check :
- that there is no obstacle preventing the movement of the basket
- Check that the slide coil concerned is powered in 12V.
- The mechanical functioning of the slide associated with the function that is not working.
- If the slide for the function that is not working is not blocked or damaged by an impurity
- The condition of the lower seal on the slide associated with the function that is not working.
- That there is no leak on the hydraulic circuit.
15. AFTER EMPTYING WHEN RAISED
The flap returns to the working position (horizontal), and the basket remains in the upper position.
Check :
- that the fixed grassbox contactor is not stuck on the "closed" position.
- that there is no short-circuit between the cables of the fixed grassbox contactor.
16. AFTER EMPTYING WHEN RAISED OR ON THE GROUND
The flap does not return to the working position (horizontal), and the basket is in the lower position and
closed. Check that :
- the basket contactors are in fact activated
- the contactors are activated until the contact closes
- the contactors are properly connected.
- the information from the contactors is in fact arriving at the electric module.
