Adjustment of the cutting deck

1) Left-Right alignment

Before making any adjustments, it is essential to check the pressure of the
tyres (1.2 bars front and rear) as well as the flatness of the ground on which
the machine is standing.
-
Use the eccentrics (rep.1) to compensate for any differences between the right and left sides.
-
By turning the eccentrics, it is possible to raise or lower the deck by several millimetres so that
it has the same distance from the ground.

2) Front-rear tilt

-
To change the tilt of the cutting deck, use the threaded rods (rep.2). These rods have right-
handed and left-handed threading.
-
If the rod is turned in one or other direction, the deck is moved at the front or back.
A : if the rod is lengthened, the plate tilts forwards.
1 turn of the rod = about 3 mm
B : if the rod is shortened, the plate goes down at the back and up at the front .
The adjustment must be identical at both sides.
-
The ideal tilt is between 6 and 8 mm of difference between the front and the back, bearing in
mind that the back must always be higher than the front.
-
The exact measurement is taken at the cutting edge of the blades.
