BREAKDOWNS AND THEIR PROBABLE CAUSES

1.ENGINE DOES NOT START (Starter doesn't work)
-Check if the blade switch is not engaged.
-Check if the power take-off switch is not engaged.
-Check that the drive pedals are really at dead centre.
-Check if the blade switch is not engaged.
-Check if the power take-off switch is not engaged.
- Check the seat contactor.
-Check the parking brake contactor.
-Check the dead centre contactor.
-Check the fuses are in good condition.
- Check the battery is in good condition (voltage + density).
-Check the terminals and battery terminals are in good condition and clean.
-Check the condition of the electrical bundle (correct connection of the different plugs, check
for traces of oxidation).
-Check the keyed ignition switch is working properly.
-Check the starter is working properly.
-See if the engine is not blocked.
-Turn the engine over a quarter of a turn and try the starter again.
2.ENGINE DOES NOT START (Starter working)
-Check the fuses are in good condition.
-Check if the fuel tank is full.
-Check the heating relay is working properly.
-Check the heater plugs are working properly.
-Check the solenoid valve on the diesel filter is powered.
-Check the diesel prefilter is clean.
-Check the air filter is clean.
-Check the circuit is sealed (leaks and air intake).
-Purge the diesel circuit.
-Check the battery is in good condition (voltage and density): 10% max. voltage drop on
starting.
-Check the length of the fuel pump control rod (dimension : 153.25 mm).
-Check the fuel pump valves are in good condition and clean.
-Check if the diesel inlet and return pipes are correctly connected to the engine.
-Check the condition of the dip tube in the diesel tank.
-Check that the air inlet of the diesel tank is not clogged.
-Check the injectors are working correctly*.
