ELECTRIC MODULE ELECTRIC MODULE ELECTRIC MODULE ELECTRIC MODULE
This component is situated under the engine cover, to the left of the engine, above the
equipment circuit control valves. It receives all the information coming from the safety
contactors and switches (except those for the lights and sens indicators). Depending on the
information received, it will authorise, or not :
- the starting of the diesel engine
- the starting of the cutting system
- the upward or downward movement of the cutting deck
- the upward or downward movement of the grassbox
- the opening or the closing of the grassbox
- the starting of the revolving warning light
It also controls the monitors on the steering console.
It is protected by the 15A fuse.
The main enemy of this component is a fuse of more than 15A.
A fuse must always be replaced by another of the same value !
Replacing a fuse with one of a higher value can lead to the destruction of
the component it is meant to protect, causing further breakdowns and
generating higher repair costs than the original breakdown.
This is true for all the fuses.
If there is an electrical malfunction, try to find out :
If the module is receiving the right information. If it is receiving it, is it responding correctly ?
(is it sending the right information ?).
