2.3) The receivers

General points
A receiver transforms hydraulic energy into mechanical energy. With the notion of receiver appear the
notions of pressure and power.
In our application, for the circuits connected to the tandem pump, we have two types of receivers
mounted in series on the Hydro124D, that is rams and the ORBITROL.

2.3.1) The Rams

They transform hydraulic energy into linear mechanical energy (straight movement).

Diagram

They are characterised by their :
- piston diameter (in mm)
- rod diameter (in mm)
- stroke (movement from stop to stop) (in mm)
On the Hydro124D, the following functions are activated by rams:
- grassbox lifting (2 rams)
- grassbox opening (2 rams)
- grassbox flap (2 rams)
- accessory-holder triangle (1 ram)
