EMPTYING THE BASKET

When emptying the basket, several operations automatically occur in sequence as the
information from the contactors arrives at the electric module, whereas the operator only
does one thing : presses the control switch for the function.
There are two ways of emptying the basket :
- on the ground
- raised (at a height between that of ground level emptying and 1.90m inclusive).

Emptying on the ground :

Principle :
Opening : Flap and mobile basket move simultaneously
Closing : The flap places itself in the vertical position before the mobile basket closes, then
returns to the horizontal position.

Detail

Initial stage : flap in the working position (horizontal), mobile basket closed, fixed basket in
the lower position
Opening
The operator presses on the mobile basket opening switch :
1) Then the flap starts to move up
2) if the flap is no longer in the horizontal position :
3) Then the revolving warning light is activated. The flap continues to rise. The basket
opens. (The blades stop*)
The operator releases the switch (at the desired position).
Closing
The operator presses on the mobile basket closing switch :
1) Then the flap starts to rise again (or is already in the vertical position)
2) If the flap is in the vertical position :
3) Then the flap is maintained in the vertical position. The basket starts to close.
4) If the basket is closed (and in the lower position) :
5) Then (the blades start again*) The flap starts to return to the working position (horizontal)
6) If the flap is in the working position (horizontal) :
7) Then the revolving warning light stops
The operator releases the mobile basket closing switch
(*If the blades were in operation when emptying has begun.)
