Harmonic Input Reactors (Chokes) for MICROMASTER Eco & MIDIMASTER Eco
The line reactor rating is generally given as a
percentage of the mains supply voltage (e.g.
2% and 4% line reactors) since the line
reactor's inductance causes a voltage drop of
say 2% or 4% across the reactor when
operating at nominal inverter rated input
current.
For example, on a 400V, 50Hz mains supply a
4 % line reactor would have a voltage drop of
16V when operating at the inverter's rated input
current.

ECO REFERENCE MANUAL
The line reactors reduce the harmonic currents
by "filtering out" the harmonic currents. At
higher harmonic frequencies the inductance of
the line reactor causes a larger impedance
which attenuates the inverter harmonic
currents.

providing an additional line impedance of 2% or
4% are shown within the tables below:
