Installation Instructions

There are some parts for the S/390 application which are not addressed
in Chapter 3, "Installation" on page 31. When installing a 9910 for a
S/390, the castor plate should be positioned and the 9910 modules
stacked in the following order; PowerPass Distribution Module on the
castor plate, Power Processing Unit on the PowerPass Distribution
Module, battery cabinets on the Power Processing Unit.
Battery Warranty
The warranty period is five years from the date of installation or 66
months from the date of manufacture, whichever occurs first. If, in
Powerware Corporation's opinion, the unit fails to meet published
specifications and the defect is within the terms of the limited warranty
(attached), the defective part(s) will be repaired or replaced at the
option of Seller with no charge for replacement parts. The battery is
warranted to have at least 70% of original full load capacity at the end of
five years from date of installation or 66 months after manufacture,
whichever comes first. The warranty is invalid if the battery is subject to
misuse, abuse, or physical damage.
