Marking of the polarisation direction

If possible, the antenna diameter of the sensor should
correspond to the inner diameter of the tube. With VEGAPULS
63 this is approx. 40 mm (1.575 in). The sensor can be used
with tube diameters between 40 ... 80 mm (1.575 ... 3.15 in).
Bypass tube
As an alternative to the surge pipe in the vessel, a pipe system
can be mounted outside of the vessel as a bypass tube. For
setup, select the function "Bypass tube".
Align the sensor in such a way that the polarisation marking on
the process fitting is in the same plane as the tube holes or the
tube connection openings (see illustration: "VEGAPULS in a
bypass tube").
