A corresponding collar flange for DN 80 (ASME 3" or JIS 80) as well
as a suitable adapter flange are available for mounting VEGAPULS
61.
With the housing versions plastic, aluminium single chamber and
stainless steel, the collar flange can be placed directly over the hous-
ing. With the aluminium double chamber housing, retroactive mount-
ing in this way is not possible - the mounting type must be specified
with the order.
Information:
The mounting socket should be as short as possible and its end
rounded. This reduces false echoes from the vessel mounting socket.

If the medium has good reflective properties, VEGAPULS 61 can
also be mounted on a longer socket piece. Recommended values
for socket heights are specified in the following illustration. You must
carry out a false echo storage afterwards.
