To enter Currency Exchange Rate Program Mode, press a corresponding quick access key (contact the system
administrator) – the scale will return the current value of the currency exchange rate in the second line of the display
as in

2.9.7 Secondary Currency Cost Equivalent

Secondary currency cost equivalent is a helpful option allowing operators to view the equivalent cost of an item
in the secondary currency calculated by the preset currency exchange rate (refer to paragraph 2.9.6 Currency Exchange
Rate). Access to Secondary Currency Cost Equivalent Display Mode is denied, if the exchange rate value is not set
(equals to "0"): the scale emits an error beep and displays a message "Exchange rate not set!".
To enter Secondary Currency Cost Equivalent Display Mode, make sure that the cost of an item has been
calculated. Press a corresponding quick access key (contact the system administrator) – the scale will return the cost
value of the item in the primary currency and its equivalent in the secondary currency in the second line of the display
as in

below:
If a standard label is printed in Secondary Currency Cost Equivalent Display Mode, the printed label will contain
the cost in the primary and in the secondary currencies, if the printing of the secondary currency cost equivalent is
enabled by the system administrator in the selected label format.
To quit Additional Currency Cost Equivalent Display Mode, press a corresponding quick access key (contact the
system administrator). Quick access keys for entering and quitting this mode should be different (one key cannot
perform the both functions).

2.9.8 Production Date

Item production date is used to calculate item expiration date. Expiration date is reckoned from the production
date by adding to it the item shelf life set in days. If item production date is undefined, it is taken to be equal to the
