1.6 Scale Power-Up

The power-up procedure of the scale is performed as follows:
Before powering the scale up, make sure that the platter/pan is empty and does not touch any foreign
objects. There should be no foreign objects underneath the platter in SHTRIH-PRINT, SHTRIH-PRINT M,
and SHTRIH-PRINT FI scales, except for those foreseen by the manufacturer. The platter should be
equidistant for the sides of the scale housing. The pan of SHTRIH-PRINT PV model should hang loose and
should not touch any foreign objects.
Turn on the power switch. The scale emits a series of four beeps and runs a firmware test. If the test has
been successful, the scale emits one more beep sound and initiates a display test (all display registers
show numbers from "0" to "9"). After the test, the scale displays the identification name of the
metrologically relevant part of the scale firmware, firmware version and its digital ID (checksum), and
the counter of scale calibrations (see
