Snap the server into place.

Using the screws included in the rack kit as described in the rack kit instructions for preparing
a server for shipment, fasten the server to the rack.

Pull down the plastic retention lever on each side of the server.

Insert the screws into each side.
10. Using the instructions in the rack kit, install the cable arm.

Connecting the cables

This section provides cabling information for installing the HP Carrier-Grade rx2800 i2 Server DC
Solution. This equipment is intended for installation in Network Telecommunication Facilities.

NEBS chassis ground

NOTE:
This carrier-grade product is intended for use in both common bonding networks and
isolated bonding networks.
Each DC power supply is provided with a power cable that has an integrated lead for implementing
the safety ground. Grounding must comply with local, national, or other applicable government
codes and regulations.
NOTE:
Terminations must be made with UL Listed compression lugs. Mating surfaces must be
cleaned to a bright metal finish and an antioxidant applied before connections are made.
