Example of recommended setup either wired or wireless. Here, you add a Bang & Olufsen
recommended router.
Wired setup
Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the router and the other end to the Ethernet
socket  on the television.* You can then make the wired connection. It is assumed that
you have enabled the DHCP service on your network.
1. Make sure that the router is switched on.
2. Press , highlight Settings and press the centre button.
3. Highlight Wireless and Networks and press .
4. Highlight Wired or wireless and press .
5. Highlight Connect to network and press the centre button.
6. Select Wired. The television constantly searches for the network connection.
7. A message will be shown when the connection is successful.
*Use a shielded Ethernet cable.

Wireless setup

If your router has the WPS feature (wireless protected setup), you can make a wireless
connection to your network directly. You can also search for a network. It is assumed that
you have enabled the DHCP service on your network and that the SSID is not hidden.
Wireless
1. Press , highlight Settings and press the centre button.
2. Highlight Wireless and Networks and press .
3. Highlight Wired or wireless and press .
4. Highlight Connect to network and press the centre button.
5. Select Wireless.
6. In the list of found networks, select your wireless network. If your network is not
in the list because the network name is hidden (you switched off the SSID
broadcast of the router), select Enter Name to enter the network name yourself.
7. Depending on the type of router, enter your encryption key - WEP, WPA or
WPA2. If you have entered the encryption key for this network previously, you
can use the centre button to accept and make the connection immediately.
8. A message will be shown when the connection is successful.
WPS
If your router has WPS, you can directly connect to the router without scanning for
networks. If you have devices in your wireless network that use the WEP security
encryption system, you cannot use WPS.
1. Press , highlight Settings and press the centre button.
2. Highlight Wireless and Networks and press .
3. Highlight Wired or wireless and press .
4. Highlight Connect to network and press the centre button.
5. Select WPS.
6. Go to the router, press the WPS button and return to the television within two
minutes.
7. Select Connect to make the connection.
8. A message will be shown when the connection is successful.
WPS with pin code
If your router has WPS with a pin code, you can directly connect to the router without
scanning for networks. If you have devices in your wireless network that use the WEP
security encryption system, you cannot use WPS.
