Service and software update – introduction
We recommend that you enable automatic software update on your television to
ensure that your television always has the latest features and functions.
If your television is set up in a system, it is essential that you enable the automatic
system update to ensure that all products in your system are kept up to date and are
able to communicate. System setup may not be available in the current software
version.
You can always look up software information and update the TV software manually.


In the Latest release menu, you can look up information about the current software
version, its release date, and any release notes available.
Update software
Update software – introduction
To download available software updates in the Software update menu, your television
must be connected to the Internet. It is recommended that you set the television to
update software automatically.
You can also download available software updates from www.bang-olufsen.com onto a
USB device. Connect the USB device to the USB port on the connection panel.
On some markets, it is also possible to update the software via the antenna signal (OAD).
Contact your retailer for more information about software updates.
Check for update
Select if the television should check for new software on a connected USB, via the
Internet or via the antenna signal, if possible. If any updates are available, press
the centre button to start updating and follow on-screen instructions.
While the television is updating with new software, the standby indicator flashes red and
the television should remain connected to the mains.
When updating is completed, the Latest release information will be shown. Press
the centre button to remove the information.
