Auto system updates – introduction
If you have a system setup with several Bang & Olufsen products, the entire system is
updated when you check for updates. You should enable automatic software update of
the system in the TV menu. You can set the time of day you want automatic software
updates to take place to ensure that they do not interfere with the use of your television
(may not be available in the current software version), and select whether or not you
want to be notified about updates. Available software updates for all the Bang & Olufsen
products in your setup will then be downloaded automatically on a regular basis.* If
system setup is not available in the current software version, you can still perform
automatic software update of the television.
*You can only enable or disable automatic software updates on the entire system and
not on a single product.
Activation
Set up your entire system to be updated automatically when new software is available. It
is strongly recommended to enable automatic software updates to ensure an optimum
performance of the products in your setup. Follow on-screen instructions.
If system setup is not available in the current software version, you can still perform
automatic software update of the television.
Time of the day
This function may not be available in the current software version.
Set a time of the day the television should check for available software updates.
Notifications
Select if you want to receive notifications when software updates are available. The
Notifications menu is only available if Activation in the Auto system update menu is
disabled. However, it is recommended to enable the Activation menu.

PUC tables

PUC tables – introduction
In the PUC management menu, download or delete peripheral unit controller (PUC)
tables or check for updates for tables already downloaded to the television. The
peripheral unit controller enables you to operate a connected non-Bang & Olufsen
product with the Bang & Olufsen remote control. The peripheral unit controller built into
your television "translates" signals from the remote control into signals understood by
the connected product. For the "translation" to take place correctly, the appropriate PUC
table must be downloaded into the television.
The number of supported products is updated on a regular basis. However, we cannot
guarantee that you can find your product in the list.
