Connecting Cables

Power Connectors

A 24-pin main power supply connector
(JPW1) and two 8-pin CPU power connec-
tors (JPW2/JPW3) on the motherboard.
These power connectors meet the SSI
EPS 12V specification and must be con-
nected to your power supply to provide
adequate power to the system. See the
tables on the right for pin definitions.
Warning! To avoid damaging the power
supply or the motherboard, be sure to use
a power supply that contains a 24-pin and
two 8-pin power connectors. Be sure to con-
nect the 24-pin power connector at JPW1,
and the two 8-pin power connectors to your
power supply. Failure to do so may void the
manufacturer warranty on your power supply
and motherboard.
