1-9 Introduction to the AOC-MTG-i4S SIOM Card
(Optional)
The Supermicro AOC-MTG-i4S is the most advanced, intelligent SFP+ SIOM (Su-
per I/O Module) card on the market today. This card supports Intel® XL710-AM1
LAN controller, quad SFP+ connectors (with a speed of up to 10 Gbps per port),
Time Sync (IEEE 1588), Intel® Flow Director, and Asset Management Features.
Combining hardware optimizations and intelligent network offloads, the AOC-
MTG-i4S extends virtualization support from the server level to the network level.
It provides unprecedented I/O expansion capability and networking flexibility for
high-performance networking platforms.
