Administrator

Configure the settings of the administrator of the recorder.

Click the [User mng.] button.

Click the [Administrator] tab.
The "Administrator" page will be displayed.
Setup items
■ Administrator name
It is possible to edit the name of the administrator.
Default: ADMIN
Enter 5 to 14 alphanumeric characters for the adminis-
trator name.
■ New password
Retype new password
Enter a password.
Enter 5 to 8 alphanumeric characters.
Set a unique password, not to be easily guessed by an
outsider. Please do not forget the set password.
To enhance the security, change the password periodi-
cally.
■ Level
The operational level of the administrator will be dis-
played. The operational level of the administrator is
"LV1" and it is impossible to change it.
Operable functions for "LV1" can be set in the "User
level" page (page 76).

Configure each setting item.
Refer to "Setup items" mentioned below.

Click the [Set] button.
Important:
• The administrator settings can be configured only
when logging in as the administrator.
• When logging in to the recorder without changing
the default administrator password, the message
saying that it is recommended to change the pass-
word will be displayed.
■ Access priority
The rank of the priority to operate the recorder in case
multiple users access the recorder simultaneously will
be displayed. The priority rank of the administrator is "0
(highest)" and it is impossible to change it.
■ Default screen
Select the camera channel from which images are to be
displayed just after login from the following.
Cam.1 (default) - Cam.64/Cam.1 - 4/Cam.5 - 8 ...
Cam.61 - 64/Seq
Cam.1 - Cam.64: Live images from the selected cam-
era channel will be displayed on a 1-screen.
Cam.1 - 4 ... Cam.61 - 64: Live images from the
selected camera channels will be displayed on a
4-screen.
Seq: Images will be displayed sequentially.
■ Camera partitioning
Operational functions of each camera channel will be
displayed. The camera partitioning setting of the
administrator is "View/Operate" and it is impossible to
change it.
